Must have experience:
We are searching for a Ruby on Rails developer to join our small core engineering group. A candidate must have exemplary code-design skills, be fluent in the idioms of Rails and MVC architectures, and harbor fantasies of building the best damn applications out there. Desire to work in a close-knit team and be a self-starter on meaty development tasks a must.
Skills we are looking for:
3+ years experience building customer-facing web applications
Experience implementing complex XHTML/CSS/JavaScript applications
Recent experience with Ruby on Rails
Commitment to and expertise in creating superior user experiences
Proficiency with SQL (MySQL or equivalent) and comfortability with DB administration/optimization
Fluent in Unix environments (Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris, etc.)
Experience with memcached, apache, nginx, mongrel a plus
Desire to learn new technologies, and master ones you know
Education requirement:
Degree in Computer Science or related field
